The pool and drop nature of the Lower Salmon River Canyon provides opportunities for everyone. Fun whitewater, dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife.
Fishing and Hunting
In the fall season we offer steelhead fishing day trips on the Clearwater River, and 3-5 day steelhead/chukar cast and blast trips on the Lower Salmon River.

Did this trip as a kid years ago with the current owners father. Made memories of a lifetime. Went again the summer of 2023 and it was just as amazing as I had remembered. Jacques and his crew were amazing. (They were excellent when it came to safety with the kids, yet managed to get them cliff jumping into the river, swimming through the tamer rapids and even trying their hand in the kayaks). We loved it so much we are going again summer of 2024.

Trip of a lifetime! I joined several friends for a 4 day trip, and it was simply spectacular! We went in July and while hot, the river temperature was perfect for swimming and 'Eddying'. Not only are the entire Barker folks super friendly and helpful, but the food was also fantastic, and we learned so much about the area and history. We're already looking forward to booking a high river trip to experience the high water.
